OJ wasn't in the Bronco during the escort. The police escort is a staged Hollywood hoax. 8:40 The couple who spotted the Bronco first did so somewhere in this area. They called Highway Patrol from a call box somewhere in this area. The female is the third cousin of retired professional bodybuilder and Incredible Hulk actor Lou Ferrigno. 10:43 The first cop to spot the Bronco did so right here at Jamboree Road. Larry Pool got the Bronco license plate number, pulled beside the Bronco, looked at AC Cowlings, then backed off. Larry called it in to dispatch to make sure it was the correct vehicle they were looking for. 11:52 Once dispatch confirmed it was the right Bronco, Pool got back behind the Bronco right here at Red Hill Avenue. Larry called for back up. 13:26 The first cop backup started arriving right here at 1st Street. 13:49 The first backup cop came from 1st Street I-5 onramp on the right hand side. 14:14 More back up arrived right here at Grand Avenue. 14:30 The first helicopter on the scene was a cop helicopter and it arrived right here. 14:36 The first news helicopter that arrived was Dirk from NBC and it arrived right here and was filming on the left hand side of I-5 at Lincoln Avenue. 14:49 The Bronco was way ahead of 17th Street by the time the second news helicopter arrived, but when it arrived, Zoey and CBS arrived right here on the right hand side of I-5 South of 17th Street. 15:02 The cops light up the Bronco right here and the Bronco stops North of 17th Street. Only Dirk and CBS in the first helicopter that arrived films the traffic stop because Zoey and CBC haven't arrived on the scene yet. Dirk and NBC got 4 minutes of footage before Zoey because Zoey and CBS had not arrived yet. 15:22 Zoey and CBS finally catch up to the Bronco right here. There are now 9 cop cars behind the Bronco. For 30 years now Zoey has falsely claimed to be the first helicopter filming. This is a lie. Dirk and NBC air Live locally, not nationwide. Zoey starts airing Live nationwide right here. 16:15 Some of these overpasses were under construction in 1994. The Live 7 helicopter goes Live locally right here at Freeway 57. 18:00 This is the beginning of Disneyland on the left and it runs North. 18:29 In 1994, there was an overpass over I-5 right here. 18:36 Larry King and CNN go Live nationwide right here using footage from the KCAL helicopter that was flying on the right hand side of I-5. 19:15 Dirk and NBC now go Live nationwide with the helicopter flying on the left hand side of I-5. NBC breaks into game 5 of the NBA finals then uses a split screen of the game and the Bronco escort. 26:39 There was only one person in the Bronco, AC Cowling. 26:59 The gun found in the Bronco is registered to a cop. OJ isn't in the Bronco. The cop gave AC a gun for his protection during the escort. Why else would a cop's gun be in the Bronco when OJ isn't even in the Bronco! 29:00 Right here at Pioneer Blvd., Former NLF player and American broadcaster Jim Hill went on KNX radio to speak to OJ and AC. Jim told AC to turn on his emergency blinkers. AC turned on the blinkers, which proves AC was indeed listening to the radio in the Bronco. 29:33 This is Gridley Road overpass that was the most packed with people and cars overpass on highway 91 during the escort. 31:09 Reporter Conan Nolan, in a white van, gets in front of the Bronco just after Bellflower Blvd. and the big flag on the right. 38:03 A car starts racing the Bronco and get in front of the Bronco right here at Avalon Ave. 38:56 39:22 There is the racing car in front of the Bronco in your video on the top left. The car stays with the Bronco until the cops finally cut it off on the 405. 39:24 Two pickup truck smash into each other right here on the V shaped median strip. The two trucks are seen in your video at the top left at 39:34. 40:27 Conan Nolan saw the two truck accident happen right in front of him so Nolan's van pulls to the right to let the Bronco pass in your video at the top left. 40:34 AC Cowlings puts his hand out of the driver's window, and is pointing to that racing car in front of the Bronco. AC is trying to tell the cops to stop that car, but the cops don't stop it until much later. 42:29 In your video at the top left is when the cops finally stop that racing car from chasing the Bronco. 44:03 AC speeds up right here at Artesia Blvd to begin passing the racing car. AC passes the car right here 44:11 at Prairie Avenue; pulls away from the car right here 44:17 at Redondo Beach Blvd; and the cops cut off the racing car right here 44:34 at the 166 Street underpass. 48:56 CNN switches to helicopter footage from KTLA because the KCAL helicopter needed to land and refuel. 51:43 CNN switches to helicopter footage from KTTV because the KTLA helicopter had to land and refuel. 1:02:22 Nicole's funeral service was held at the church with the tower on the right. 1:02:34 That's Bundy Drive on the left. 1:03:49 The Bronco turns right here at North Bristol Circle to get to OJ's house driveway on Ashford. Reel Justice - OJ Simpson double death penalty murder case historian and King of the Case.

They replaced this level junction with a flying junction and yet, they don’t have any plans to do the same to both junctions on the loop, despite high ridership in the city. If those junctions are replaced by flying junctions, not only can more trains run but lines that currently terminate at the loop can fuse together and run via part of the loop in both directions as the Green Line currently does.

Maybe BART could try going further west to complete the loop around the bay? Make a parallel corridor of service to Caltrain connected with bus lines serving suburban neighborhoods as density increases? That's done in Tokyo, granted the bay isn't as dense as Tokyo lol.

Hello from Portland, Oregon where we have had a functional regional light rail system for THIRTY YEARS

  • @douglasengle2704

Eight meter wide triple level maglevs traveling 800 kph - 1,000 kph are a reasonable development to start to take place by 2045. The issue with HSR is that it is rail travel that first made 300 kph way back in the late 1970s and is not maglev with new first generation 500 kph maglev trains in Japan scheduled to start in 2027. By 2035 when it might be possible a small section of CAHSR starts running the world should be looking at second generation double wide maglev systems faster than 500 kph. The 8 meter wide maglev trains would allow normal automobiles to be loaded perpendicular or large cargo. The exact best form factors needs to be carefully considered because it will likely be used for hundreds of years. The second and third levels would be luxury passenger space with possibly vista domes on their roofs so passenger could see forward to watch the scenery. Pure cargo cars would allow large build objects to be moved easily over land charging the world we live in. These high electricity use trains really need almost free incrementally priced electric power. Electric power usage needs not to be a consideration when running an individual train. HSR or maglev use huge amounts of electricity and if only for light passenger load of dozen people if having to price in the electricity they wouldn't be feasible. Having their own hydropower generators always with enough water is the type of electric power they need. Nuclear can be somewhat similar. Japan's bullet trains were conceived with the likelihood their electric power would come from nuclear power where the true incremental cost would be almost nothing.

I thought I heard that they laid the rails at the wrong width and the trains must go real slow on the Medford line. They should extend by going underground or should have gone suspended cars like that German line. It's ridiculous to build open platforms in the Boston area.

Way too funny ! I hired in 1973 with Penn Central and was a freight and passenger conductor. Ended my career, as a yardmaster for the local Philadelphia rail commuter service. The yardmaster job was for my last ten years, as I was involved in an auto accident that disqualified me as a conductor, due to injuries. I was basically blessed to be offered this job, instead of going on a disability pension. So, my career extended to 41 years, paid into the pension. I retired in 2014 and this June will be 10 years retired. As a young freight conductor, I was qualified on the Northeast Corridor from NYC to Alexandria, Va. (RF&P Potomac Yard at the time), plus many branch lines along the way. Also, as far west to Harrisburg and Enola, Pa. Definitely a rough and demanding job, no social life, holidays, normal hours, 365- 24/7. You actually become part of a strange, invisible, sub culture with relations, mostly with co-workers. As for the marriage part, it takes a special woman to accept you working this job. Before getting married, I made sure my wife understood this. She already had some experience with it when we were dating. She was a special lady and I lost her in 2007. But, we were fortunate to have two great children, who did well and have families of their own. The railroads really went downhill after politics got heavily involved. Also, as the corporate mentality took over and bean counters with no knowledge of the industry started making major decisions. Most likely for profit, but eliminating many major things such as preventative maintenance and other things. When I started, the railroad was very regimented, like the military, and I would say the train service was way more efficient than today. Thanks for the video and the most of luck with your career. I could probably sit with you for hours and tell you some great railroad experiences, that you might enjoy.

CSX loves to keep you in the hotel for 24+ hours and reset your "week" so the 5 days a week claim is pure BS. There's no way they drug test anyone while spending the night in a Hotel. Every one of these young bucks are drinking so they can sleep till the phone rings! Safety is Number one! After Profits, of course. And also after the management says so... But if management has an issue with the way you are performing your duties, safety is the first thing to go out the window! @15:28 If you say "Go ahead and back up," while you are my conductor, I am going to bump you off as I pull forward, and then Back up. NEVER say go ahead and back up, ya donkey! Also wearing a Gold watch in the field is a safety violation. Few Gold watches have breakaway bands and I'm betting his did not... But I'm sure he has the dark-skin exception in Atlanta. Ironically all the yard footage was shot in Tilford Yard before they dismantled it. Our train originated in Tilford yard until it didn't exist anymore.

Around 18:30, he speaks about the importance of "maintaining trust" (in others?) on the railroad when bending down between cars and connecting the air hoses. This trust refers to the engineer in the cab. Is he implying that engineers have intentionally put the train in motion knowing that their conductor has been putting the hoses together if they don't like them?

I think the reason for keeping a lot of the parking lots is because of lot of corridors not well served by transit that’s going to be connected to the purple line has nothing more than traditional bus service. Which is why I’m hoping RideOn ramps their service back to prepandemic levels and TheBus continues to ramp up their service and purchases 40 ft buses, and that they serve areas that’s not served by transit at all. Also hopefully metro will expand their metroextra and metroway services and add 24/7 bus services in md and va all which will greatly compliment the purple line. Overall I love the project wish they would make it operate with more often between Silver Spring and New Carrollton where it can but nonetheless great work transit project.

As a Conductor myself, this was pretty comical to watch. I will say that on my road and my turf I do actually get a lot of calls from the actual crew callers. I've received less automated calls than I have actual calls. Then again, I'm on a board that covers 4 locals (when vacant) and a weekend turn job. We also get a 3 hour call. We work (the board) 6 days on, two off. Pool COs only get their 48 hour rest if they get 6 consecutive starts.

I would like the 47 freeway to get extended further north intersecting and for there to be an interchange with the 105 in Lynwood and then have the 47 continue north ending it in Boyle heights interstate 10 .
